Brunata and ZENNER announce the merger in Italy
Brunata and ZENNER, leading companies in the solutions for the measurement of water, heat and energy, announce the merger of their branches in Italy, creating BRUNATA ZENNER Srl.
This important step is part of a large project to strengthen and reorganize the multinational group Brunata-Minol-ZENNER of which the two Italian companies are part, with the ultimate goal of becoming a valuable partner for customers by offering complete solutions.
The group, composed by many companies operating worldwide, provides products and solutions for consumption metering, cost allocation, energy efficiency in buildings, smart buildings, e-mobility and a wide range of IoT (Internet of Things) solutions for smart cities.
Brunata, born about 100 years ago in Denmark, is specialized in accounting services for heat and water consumption in buildings, with software solutions and monitoring portals dedicated to building administrators and property managers.
ZENNER, founded in Germany in 1903, is a global leader in the production and marketing of equipment for measuring thermal energy, water and gas, suitable for use in individual homes or in district heating stations.
Thanks to the LoRaWAN communication protocol, the meters distributed by the group are already prepared for the integration into smart buildings and smart cities, allowing the users to be more aware of their consumption, hence the possibility of energy savings.
BRUNATA ZENNER Srl also operates in the IoT field, with solutions for energy monitoring and various environmental parameters to support facility management. Other proposed solutions include, for example, the monitoring of public and private car parks and of the conditions inside production sites and farms.

The new company, called BRUNATA ZENNER Srl and operational as of January 1st 2021, will continue to operate from the two offices in Funo di Argelato (BO) and Novate Milanese (MI).
